Senior Drainage Engineer – South West
Covering Devon, Cornwall & Surrounding Areas
Circa £45,000 + Commission / Incentivised Bonus
Company Van + Fuel Card + Tools & Tech
A fast growing Drainage company is expanding in the South West — and we’re looking for a Senior Drainage Engineer who can take the lead on-site and support our long-term growth across Devon and Cornwall.
This is a hands-on and commercially focused role. You’ll deliver expert drainage works, including CCTV surveys, repairs and pump system servicing, while also helping us grow our client base across the region. You’ll play a key role in laying the foundations for a new regional office.
Your Role Will Include:
Carrying out CCTV drainage surveys, fault diagnosis and reporting
Leading reactive and planned works across commercial and industrial drainage systems
Installing, maintaining, and servicing pump systems (e.g. wastewater, submersible, booster, sewage)
Building strong relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for further work
Assisting with quoting and securing new contracts across the region
Acting as a regional lead with a view to supporting a future South West office and team
What We’re Looking For:
Strong field experience in drainage and pump systems
Skilled in conducting CCTV drainage surveys and interpreting results
Based in the South West (Devon, Cornwall or surrounding areas)
Excellent client-facing skills and commercial awareness
Full UK driving licence
A proactive, self-starting mindset — keen to grow with a business
Bonus if you have:
Confined Space, CSCS, First Aid, 17th/18th Edition, IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications
