Job Description
Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with an engineering business with over 40 years' experience across civil nuclear, and defence and nuclear consultancy work to recruit a Senior EC&I Engineer on a 12 month+ contract for its Aldermaston site.
The Senior EC and I Engineer role comes with an hourly rate between £60 - £62 an hour based on experience, Outside IR35.
This role will require DV clearances, please only apply if you are able to obtain this and hold a minimum of SC clearances.
Responsibilities and duties
You will:
Produce designs EC and I designs (SLD's, BCD's, cable schedules, layouts, etc)
Produce and maintain LTQR / Technical Documentation including design justification reports and commissioning documents such as FATs and SAT.
Key skills
Broad based engineering experience in design and manufacturing
Design of electrical systems
Low voltage control gear
Control systems
Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Senior EC and I Engineer
A base rate between £60 - £62 per hour.
Hybrid working
Outside IR35
Long term contract - 12+ months
