Overview
Our client, a leading consultancy in design, engineering, and project management, is seeking experienced EIA Consultants to join their Planning and Environmental Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile infrastructure projects across the energy, water, rail, highways, and buildings sectors in the UK, with potential international exposure.
As an EIA Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering environmental services that enable the consenting and delivery of sustainable projects, working with a diverse range of clients including Network Rail, National Highways, and renewable energy providers.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and related deliverables.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal environmental outcomes.
Prepare and review high-quality reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Manage client relationships professionally and confidently.
Support business development initiatives and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
Degree or Master's in an environmental or related discipline.
Chartered Environmentalist status (IEMA or equivalent preferred).
Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and associated technical specialisms.
Proven leadership experience within multidisciplinary teams.
Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
Day-to-Day
Coordinate environmental assessments and manage project deliverables.
Influence project development to achieve high environmental standards.
Engage with clients to understand and meet their needs.
Contribute to bids and proposals for new business opportunities.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
