Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services Design /MEP

Building Services / Consultancy / MEP / Senior Electrical Design Engineer
A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a friendly and enthusiastic Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join an established building services consultancy.
Working within a welcoming multidisciplinary team of engineers and support staff you will be part of a motivated team designing and managing a wide variety of project types and sizes.
The Role
* Designing electrical systems using the latest software design packages.
* You’ll have the opportunity to lead electrical services design on large projects.
* Projects span a cross section of sectors including retail, education, healthcare, leisure, residential, commercial, warehousing and distribution and mixed-use developments.
* Leading the development of initial strategic concepts for projects ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.
* Taking responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work either alone or part of a team.
* Meeting with clients, producing reports, specifications and drawings and delivering successful projects from inception to completion.
* You’ll be financially astute and help monitor fee expenditure, resource and work delivered.
Experience Required
* Excellent technical knowledge in electrical design engineering in building services.
* Solid experience in building services engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
* Autonomous approach: able to lead projects and able to take a brief from the project lead on projects and deliver & control the tasks required
* Mentor and supervise junior members of staff
* Ideally Chartered engineer or working towardsBefore You Apply
