The role
They are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy. You will play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects, supporting and mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the continued growth of the electrical design team. Key responsibilities
* Lead and deliver electrical design for mission critical and data centre projects.
* Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders confidently and professionally.
* Take ownership of project deliverables from concept through to completion.
* Stay informed of industry trends, codes, and innovations.
What they looking for
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
* Experience delivering electrical design solutions within the building services industry.
* Strong interest or background in data centres / mission critical environments.
* Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (e.g. BS7671, CIBSE, etc.).
* Excellent communication and team-working skills.
* A proactive, collaborative attitude and desire to learn and grow.
* Able to manage workload independently and take full responsibility for tasks.
