Senior Electrical Design Engineer
About the Role
2020 Recruitment is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their client’s global headquarters in Kintore, leading key projects across their Pressure Control Equipment divisions.
Working closely with the Principal Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing innovative hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems — supporting everything from initial proposals to project completion.

Working Hours: Mon–Thurs 08:00–16:30 | Fri 08:00–15:15
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing bespoke, client-focused electrical systems using advanced CAE tools
* Managing full project lifecycles, including cost estimates, testing, and documentation
* Providing technical support across multiple departments and international teams
* Supporting site installations, system validation, and client engagement as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
* Experience in electrical design within oil & gas or related industries
* Confident with CAE tools and engineering documentation
* Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
* Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
* Exposure to hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems
* Familiarity with design for manufacturability
* Experience in global, cross-functional engineering environments
