Senior Electrical Designer – Water Treatment Upgrade Project

Location: Manchester HQ (ideal candidates within reasonable commute to Stockport)

Employment: Full-time, contract duration 24 months.

Join a major water treatment upgrade programme based at the client’s headquarters in Manchester. This is a high‑profile, technically challenging project that will significantly enhance regional water and wastewater infrastructure.

⚡ The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to take a leading role in the design and delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment systems. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design strategy, and ensure high‑quality, compliant electrical design outputs.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Produce and review detailed electrical designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities

• Develop 3D CAD models to a high standard

• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering teams

• Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and client requirements

• Support project planning, design reviews, and technical decision‑making

🎓 Required Qualifications & Experience

• HNC in Electrical Engineering (minimum)

• Significant experience in water or wastewater treatment design

• High proficiency in 3D CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)

• Strong understanding of UK standards and industry best practice

• Ideally located within a reasonable commute to Stockport
