Senior Electrical Engineer - up to £65K

Due to securing two new large-scale frameworks, they are now looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their fully integrated, multi-disciplinary consultancy.

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll benefit from a stable team, ongoing CPD's, and a hybrid policy of just 1 - 2 days a week in the office.
The Opportunity:
This is a key leadership role in the design, technical assurance, and project management of electrical building systems. You'll lead the electrical (MEP) design process from concept through delivery, ensuring design integrity, statutory compliance, and high sustainability standards are upheld throughout.
As a technical advisor, you'll collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
You'll help implement decarbonization strategies and ensure they meet their ambitious net-zero goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the concept and detailed design of electrical systems.
Provide technical assurance through detailed design and construction phases
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients, contributing to design workshops and key project meetings
Produce and support project reporting, design documentation, and client updates
Champion sustainable design, identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions across project deliveryAbout You:
Strong technical background in MEP building services, with solid experience in electrical design
In-depth knowledge of statutory regulations, health & safety, and project delivery standards (including RIBA stages 1-7)
Degree qualified in electrical engineering, building services engineering, or similar
Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple project timelines
Effective communicator, confident working with clients, consultants, and contractors alike
