Senior Electrical Engineer – Milan
Location: Milan, Italy
Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering design and installation activities from design through commissioning.
- Review electrical designs, identify gaps, and provide recommendations on cable sizing and technical specifications.
- Prepare, manage, and submit technical documentation and approvals for electrical systems.
- Liaise with project teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with BIM teams to ensure designs are constructible and maintainable.
- Conduct system walk-downs and commissioning activities, including managing specialist vendors.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduates.
- Support pre-construction and ongoing engineering activities, including QA, procurement, and design reviews.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
- 7+ years’ experience in electrical engineering for construction projects, ideally in commercial, industrial, pharma, or data centre environments.
- Expertise in both LV and MV systems.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and standards (ETCI, BS7671, EN, IEC, building regulations).
- Strong experience with AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux, Adobe Pro, and MS Office Suite.
- Proven track record of client, vendor, and contractor management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
