Title: Electrical Engineer (Energy / Power Generation)
Location: Deeside / Cheshire
Shifts 5 Weeks Shift Rotation (days and nights)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + overtime available + excellent healthcare + 12% employer pension contribution + performance bonus + long term career prospects
The Company:
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Senior Authorised Person at a major energy facility in Deeside.

Responsibilities:
Operate the facility in line with site rules and contractual requirements.
Perform planned and unplanned maintenance and fault diagnosis.
Ensure all work is done safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
Perform electrical isolations and issue safety-to-work documents up to 400kV.
Provide Senior Authorised Person (SAP) support for LV and HV operations (6.6kV to 400kV).
Work independently on a shift basis to operate the facility.
Liaise with contractors and suppliers.
Provide cover and support within the shift roster as needed.
Requirements:
A formal engineering qualification, such as an HNC or equivalent, in an electrical or mechanical discipline.
A strong electrical background with the experience and ability to become HV authorised.
Experience in a large industrial process environment, preferably within the power industry.
Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, LV/HV switching, and electrical isolations.
Computer literate.
