Senior Electronics Engineer - Formula 1

Permanent | Full‑time onsite
 Commutable from: Silverstone, Towcester, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Daventry

We're looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our Formula 1 team and help deliver high‑performance, reliable electronic systems that directly impact both car performance and factory operations. If you thrive in fast‑paced motorsport environments and enjoy solving complex technical challenges, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Lead electronics projects from concept to validation for on‑car and off‑car systems.
Manage and prioritise workloads to meet demanding project timelines.
Support system development, instrumentation, testing, and collaboration across engineering teams.
Develop embedded software using agile practices, focusing on efficiency and reusable code.
Mentor team members and contribute to building capability within the electronics group.
Evaluate new technologies to enhance performance, reliability, and data accuracy.
Work proactively within established processes and reporting structures.

What You'll Bring

Strong knowledge of electronics and their practical applications.
Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and data logging systems.
Good understanding of automotive or motorsport communication systems.
Motorsport experience is essential - either direct team experience or as a supplier.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
Strong decision‑making skills and a results‑focused mindset.
Collaborative, enthusiastic approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.
Willingness to travel when required
