Job Description

Senior Electronics Engineer  Senior Hardware Engineer/ Technical Lead An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join an innovative technology business developing advanced electronic products. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, offering significant autonomy and ownership across the full product lifecycle, from concept and architecture through to design, test, manufacture and product release. Working within a small, highly skilled engineering team, you will lead the design and development of new products, support and improve existing designs, and act as the technical lead on a range of cutting-edge projects. You'll work closely with external design partners, PCB contractors and manufacturing partners to ensure successful project delivery. This role would suit a proactive engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to remain technically hands-on whilst providing engineering leadership. Key Responsibilities as Senior Electronics Engineer: Lead electronic product development from concept through to production. Define system architectures and electronic designs for new products. Design, simulate and verify mixed-signal electronic circuits. Produce schematics, PCB designs and technical documentation. Support prototype build, test, validation and regulatory compliance activities. Troubleshoot, improve and maintain existing electronic designs. Work with external PCB designers and contract manufacturers. Support production, test and calibration activities. Drive design-for-manufacture, quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering projects.You will likely be an experienced electronics engineer with a strong background in mixed-signal design and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers. To succeed, you will ideally have: A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. In depth experience in electronics design and development. Strong mixed-signal design experience Experience designing low-noise, high-performance electronic systems. Hands-on experience with schematic capture, PCB design and circuit simulation tools. Experience using Altium Designer or similar package (OrCAD, EAGLE etc) Strong understanding of system architecture and product development. Experience with high-speed ADCs, signal conditioning and data acquisition systems. Familiarity with laboratory test equipment Experience supporting products through testing, validation and manufacture. Excellent communication skills and a methodical approach to problem solving.In return you will have the opportunity to undertake a highly autonomous role with full project ownership.
