Hexwired are recruiting for an electronics design consultancy, based in Huntingdon now seeking a senior embedded systems engineer with a FPGA focus to join their small engineering team responsible for the development, verification and maintenance of a range of products.
The company is expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking a senior embedded systems engineer, ideally with knowledge of power electronics.
This is a senior embedded systems engineer role mainly focussed on FPGA design using mainly VHDL or Verilog.
Key skills:
* FPGA design using VHDL and/or Verilog
* Software development in C/C++ for embedded processors
* Circuit design, implementation, and bench level testing
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Experience of schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium (or similar)
* Experience of realtime control using MatLab Simulink
