What You Will Do:
- Identify and analyse potential causes of failure within high-voltage (HV) battery systems, particularly related to thermal and cooling components.
- Define and draft new or updated system requirements and tests to ensure failures are prevented or detected right the first time.
- Collaborate on the design of robust system responses to potential failures, ensuring seamless integration into the overall vehicle thermal system.
- Support system modelling activities to optimise performance and reliability.
- Influence future architecture designs by reviewing and applying current knowledge and requirements.
- Implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence of known system-level issues.
What You Will Bring:
- Expertise in system engineering, particularly related to HV battery thermal systems.
- Strong knowledge of failure mode avoidance and the ability to author comprehensive tests and requirements.
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, coupled with a coaching mindset.
- Problem-solving capabilities with a focus on implementing preventative measures.
- Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools such as MSOSA or similar systems is desirable.
