Senior Engineer - Munster (Cork Based)
Location: Cork, Ireland
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: €55,000 - €80,000 (depending on experience)
About the Role
Red Sky Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 building and civil engineering contractor for an experienced Senior Engineer to join their team in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Ireland's most established and respected contractors, delivering major infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects nationwide. The successful candidate will take a key role in ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all site engineering activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety requirements.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and subcontractors.
Perform setting-out duties from engineering drawings and prepare as-built records.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor works to achieve project milestones.
Liaise closely with clients, design teams, and project managers.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental control.
Manage site documentation, records, and material orders efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required
Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a construction engineering environment.
Proven experience on building and concrete frame projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in IT and relevant engineering software.
Full, clean driving licence
