Job Description
Abatec has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Engineer to join a specialist Civil Engineering contractor with expertise in marine, costal and infrastructure works delivering technically demanding projects in piling, cofferdams and structural construction.
As Senior Engineer you will be part of a collaborative team committed to safety, quality, and sustainable outcomes in challenging waterfront environments
As Senior Engineer you will:
* Be responsible for delivering schemes from inception to handover
* Assist and liaise with the Site Agent in planning and coordinating the project and resources, ensuring that projects are completed within budget, programme deadlines and to our clients’ technical specifications.
* Write, review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and ITP’s (Inspection Test Plans).
* Raise RFI’s (Request for Information) and TQ’s (Technical Queries).
Our client requires a Senior Engineer with:
* Degree/HNC/ONC in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Previous experience within civil engineering and marine projects
* Experience of maintaining site diaries, QA documentation, as-builts, red-line drawings etc.
* Knowledge of liaising with project team and providing daily/weekly/monthly lookaheads
Salary/Benefits:
* £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
