Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer / Senior Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor working on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for earthworks, utilities, and foundation works

• Checking holding down bolts and structural elements

• Managing and supervising site engineering activities

• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with technical drawings and specifications

• Liaising with subcontractors, survey teams, and site management

• Maintaining accurate QA records, site documentation, and as-builts

• Supporting project delivery through technical guidance and problem solving

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Senior Engineer / Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

• Strong setting out experience using Total Station / Leica / Trimble

• Experience with earthworks, utilities, and foundation works

• Experience checking holding down bolts

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Experience working on major infrastructure or Tier 1 contractor projects

• SMSTS / SSSTS

• Relevant engineering qualification
