Job Description

My client is a leading civil engineering contractor who is currently seeking a Senior Engineer to support the delivery of a major civils package on the Sizewell C project.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, taking a key role in the successful delivery of complex civil engineering works.

Senior Engineer Responsibilities:

  * Managing and mentoring a team of Site Engineers and Section Engineers.

  * Coordinating engineering activities across multiple work fronts.

  * Reviewing and managing technical documentation, permits, and site paperwork.

  * Ensuring all engineering records, QA documentation, and as-built information are maintained accurately.

  * Liaising with design teams to resolve technical queries and coordinate design changes.

  * Supporting project planning activities and monitoring progress against programme.

  * Reviewing and implementing RAMS, ITPs, and work package plans

Senior Engineer Requirements:

  * CSCS Card.

  * SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.

  * Strong experience managing Site Engineers and engineering teams.

  * Good understanding of planning processes and programme management.

  * Knowledge and experience of SSOW (Safe System of Work) procedures.

  * Strong understanding of QA processes, engineering documentation, and project controls.
