Job Description
Senior Engineer – Earthworks & Civils – Sizewell C
Location: Sizewell, Suffolk
Rate: £350 – £420 a shift
Duration: 6–8 months
Start Date: ASAP
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Engineer to support a major Earthworks & Civils package on the prestigious Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station project.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site engineering duties on large-scale earthworks and civils operations
*
Ensure all works are delivered to technical specifications, programme, and budget
*
Oversee setting out, QA processes, and site documentation
*
Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors, and the client to ensure smooth project delivery
*
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
Requirements:
*
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Senior Engineer role
*
Proven track record on large-scale infrastructure or nuclear projects (earthworks/civils)
*
Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
*
SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and ideally nuclear clearance or eligibility
*
Strong knowledge of QA, setting out (GPS/Total Station), and site reporting
