Senior Engineer – High-Rise Mixed-Use Development
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a £50m+ high-rise mixed-use development in SE London.
This is a key role for a technically strong, delivery-focused individual who can take ownership of the engineering aspects of a major project from start to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all engineering and technical aspects of the project
Lead and mentor site engineers and subcontractor teams
Ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications and design intent
Take a proactive role in progress meetings, technical reviews, and on-site coordination
Oversee setting out, QA processes, and ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently
Contribute to short-term planning and problem-solving on siteRequirements:
Proven experience delivering large-scale RC frame or high-rise projects from start to finish
Strong technical knowledge and practical engineering expertise
Confident in managing subcontractors and design coordination
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
