Are you currently working as a Senior Engineer, with a minimum of 5 years experience within the Nuclear/Regulated sector space?
Are you based in the North West and currently have or are eligible for SC level clearance?
We are currently working in partnership with a well established growing Nuclear Project Management and engineering consultancy, they provide design, project management and consultancy services across the North West, working on large scale major projects within the Nuclear sector.
This position is North West based and offers a mix of wfh, client site visits and head office.
Senior Engineer responsibilities:
* Working as part of a Multi-disciplined team to deliver design, analysis and implementation in line with Nuclear safety and regulatory requirements.
* Support engineering project delivery on large scale projects within the Nuclear sector.
* Act as key point of contact with clients, ensuring strong clear communication, scope alignment and stakeholder satisfaction.
* Develop project execution plans, schedules and budgets.
* Ensure compliance with UK Nuclear regulations, CDM 2015 and ALARP Principles.
* Prepare and review technical documentation including safety case input and engineering change proposals.
* Represent the company in a client facing position.
* Mentor junior engineers, offering a supportive and progressive work environment based on continual professional development.

Senior Engineer Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree qualified in an engineering related discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil etc).
* Ideally registered with a professional institute and working towards CEng, full support will be given to achieve this.
* 4-5 years experience as a minimum within engineer and project management.
* A strong understanding of the Nuclear sector, safety cases, regulatory frameworks.
* Project management certification (APM, PMQ, Prince2) would be advantageous.
