About the Role:
Join a high-performing Electronics Engineering team delivering cutting-edge defence projects. As a Senior Electronics Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the planning, development, and delivery of advanced electronic sub-systems from concept through full production. This role offers a clear path to Delivery Lead and Sector Lead positions, managing larger project portfolios and mentoring junior project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of complex electronics engineering projects to time, cost, and quality
Apply Project Management best practices across risk, stakeholder, compliance, and configuration management
Oversee all phases of projects, from conception to close, ensuring seamless integration of electronics systems
Mentor Engineering Project Coordinators and support the development of the team
Drive delivery strategy and process improvements within electronics engineering projects
Represent the team in outreach, professional networks, and diversity initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Solid background in the development of electronics units and sub-systems
Proven experience managing complex electronics projects/programmes on time and to budget
Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, including Risk, Earned Value, and Configuration Management
Excellent communication skills, able to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality delivery
Flexible approach to hybrid working: able to collaborate on-site when required, with remote working accommodatedWhat We Offer:
Salary: Up to £65,000
Company Bonus: Up to 21% of base salary
Pension: Up to 14% total contribution (employer + employee)
Flexible working arrangements: 4 or 5 days per week, blended on-site/remote working
