A well-established, family-run commercial roofing contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator to lead its estimating department.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in roofing refurbishment who’s ready to take on more responsibility. You'll be heading up the estimating function, supporting the wider team, and playing a key role in the company’s continued growth across London and the South East.

What You’ll Be Doing
*
Leading the estimating department and managing all pricing activity
*
Handling tenders, site visits, client meetings, and proposals
*
Mentoring junior estimators and supporting their development
*
Pricing additional works and variations on live jobs
*
Working closely with project and commercial teams to ensure smooth handovers
*
Staying on top of market trends, costs, and compliance
*
Contributing to leadership meetings and shaping the department as it grows
What We’re Looking For
*
Strong estimating experience, ideally in roofing or refurbishment
*
Confidence in pricing complex works and identifying both risks and opportunities
*
Experience managing people or running an estimating function
*
Excellent communication skills — clear, confident, and professional
*
Organised and comfortable working to deadlines
*
Good IT skills and a full UK driving licence
*
Based within commuting distance of Tolworth / Surbiton
