Estimator (Swanley, UK)

£50k - £70k + Package / Dependent on Experience

Our client is a construction and facilities maintenance contractor, who have a growing Social Infrastructure team. They are at to point that the need an experienced Estimator, to play a key role in delivering accurate cost plans and competitive tenders within the South East social housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications

Collaborate across teams to produce commercially sound, competitive tenders

Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers to support future opportunities

Produce and present tender build-ups, meeting strict deadlines

Identify risks and value opportunities within estimates

Stay up to date with market rates, materials, and labour costs

Support smooth handover from tender to project delivery

About You:

Minimum 5 years' construction experience, gained within social housing projects. 

Strong knowledge of JCT & ACA contracts

Skilled in take-offs, Bills of Quantities, and interpreting technical documents

Numerically strong, detail-focused, and highly organised

Proficient in estimating software (or quick to learn)

Excellent communication and able to work under pressure
