Role: Senior Estimator/Estimator 
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £Very Competitive - Neg depending on experience

The role 

Search are working with a large and forward-thinking construction company who are recruiting for a Senior Estimator or experienced Estimator to join the established team from the North West office.

We are looking for candidate who come from a Tier 1, tier 2, or main contracting background.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and high reputable company who work on both large and small projects within all sectors of construction

This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking individual who is looking to take the next step in their career, given the opportunity to progress and take the lead with more junior members of the team depending on your own experience. 

Responsibilities:

* Process and analyse enquiries incoming from a wide range of clients
* Manage the process of preparing take-offs as well as material schedules
* Update project costs throughout the process to match the latest information
* Participate in tender handover meetings
* Prepare subcontract enquiries and evaluate quotation
* Working within a team submit proposals to clients and stakeholders
* Negotiate terms with clients and suppliers
* Maintaining cost library based on feedback from the commercial department
* Prepare estimates and outline programmes for the costs of the works
* Coordinate tender 

Key Skills & Experience 

* Experience working within an estimating for a main Contractor 
* Knowledge of estimating software
* Experience on working on projects over £5m
* Relevant qualification or over 4 years' experience
