Job Description

Senior Estimator required for a leading regional contractor delivering major refurbishment, fit out and construction projects. Excellent opportunity to join a highly successful pre-construction team working on projects across the South West.

The Role

An established regional contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role within its growing Pre-Construction team.

You will lead tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, working closely with directors, operational teams and key clients across a broad portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

  * Leading competitive tender submissions

  * Managing multiple tenders simultaneously

  * Reviewing specifications, drawings and contract information

  * Producing detailed cost plans and estimates

  * Managing subcontractor enquiry processes

  * Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors

  * Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities

  * Preparing tender adjudications and presentations

  * Supporting framework and negotiated opportunities

  * Working closely with operational and commercial teams

  * Building relationships with clients and consultants

  * Assisting with strategic bid planning

Requirements

  * Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Estimator

  * Main contractor construction experience essential

  * Experience across refurbishment, fit out and new build projects

  * Strong commercial and contractual awareness

  * Ability to lead complex tender submissions

  * Excellent communication and presentation skills

  * Strong attention to detail

  * Full UK driving licence
