Senior Estimator

Glasgow | £65,000–£70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Pension

Contract Scotland is delighted to be partnering with a respected and expanding fit-out contractor to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator for its Glasgow office.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in producing accurate, competitive tenders and helping secure a diverse portfolio of exciting projects.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
Obtaining, assessing, and negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotations
Identifying project risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
Supporting bid strategy and tender planning with the Estimating Manager
Working closely with commercial and operational teams throughout the tender process
Managing multiple tenders while meeting tight deadlines

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced estimator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, commercially competitive tenders.

You'll also have:

Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or an experienced Estimator ready for the next challenge
A background in construction, fit-out, civil engineering, or infrastructure
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
