Job Description
Senior Estimator Required in Ardleigh
GVR Solutions are working with a well-established drylining contractor based in Ardleigh, Essex, delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Manage the full tendering process from initial enquiry to final submission.
*
Prepare accurate cost estimates for drylining, partitions, ceilings, and associated works.
*
Interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules to produce competitive bids.
*
Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
*
Attend pre- and post-tender meetings with clients, surveyors, and project teams.
*
Provide value engineering and alternative solution proposals where required.
*
Work closely with the Commercial Director to support project handovers.
Requirements:
*
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Estimator within the drylining or interiors sector.
*
Strong knowledge of drylining systems, SFS, MF ceilings, partitions, and associated finishes.
*
Proven experience working on residential and commercial tenders.
*
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
*
Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial acumen.
*
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
