Senior Estimator (Construction)
£40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits * Permanent * Cookstown * Start to suit notice

As a Senior Estimator (Construction) in a growing Cookstown office backed by a global construction group-you'll set the standard for pricing and estimating, mentor designers, and progress quickly with exposure to UK, Ireland and international projects with a development pathway from the get go.
This Senior Estimator (Construction) role blends hands-on construction estimating with team leadership. You'll interpret drawings, build competitive quotes and technical schedules, and embed best practice-while accessing clear progression and international collaboration.

Role Snapshot
Interpret construction drawings; prepare detailed, competitive estimating schedules and quotes
Build cost plans, re-price updates and issue variations for live projects
Work with an internal structural team to check basic calculations to current standards
Lead and develop Design Engineers
You'll Need
Several years' experience in a construction estimating / technical role
Leadership and people-management skills
Strong analytical/problem-solving; commercially aware and target-driven
Confident interpreting drawings and understanding construction processes/standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam and AutoCAD
