The Role
Due to continued growth, the company is looking to recruit an experienced Estimator or Senior Estimator with a background in commercial groundworks.
You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and tender submissions for projects typically ranging between £5m and £10m, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Whether you prefer to work from the office, hybrid, or fully remote, this business offers complete flexibility to suit your circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for groundworks packages (£5m–£10m)
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
* Support the pre-construction and delivery teams during tender and project handover
* Contribute to the company’s continued growth through high-quality, accurate estimating
About You
* Minimum 5 years’ experience estimating commercial groundworks projects (£5m–£10m range)
* Strong understanding of civil engineering and groundworks processes
* Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
* Proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
* A positive, “can-do” approach aligned with the company’s culture
