Job Description
Location: Stow-on-the-Wold
* Salary: £35,000pa
* Hours: 45 hours per week (weekdays & weekends, rota basis)
* Annual Leave: 28 days (including Bank Holidays)
The Burford Recruitment Company is working in partnership with a luxury Cotswolds wedding and event venue, to recruit a Senior Event Planner. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced events professional to bring five-star hospitality, creativity, and leadership to one of the region’s most design-led venues.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, detail-driven, and confident leading a team to deliver seamless, unforgettable experiences for couples and guests alike.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the event production team to deliver flawless weddings and events.
* Oversee the full client journey — from enquiry and planning meetings to the wedding day itself.
* Collaborate with Operations Managers and external partners to ensure efficient event processes.
* Maintain exceptional standards of customer service, venue presentation, and communication.
* Manage client relationships and act as the primary contact throughout planning and delivery.
* Oversee all on-site bedrooms and ensure a first-class guest experience.
* Support continuous improvement across event operations and service delivery.
About You
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in wedding or event management within the luxury hospitality sector.
* Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail with a proactive, professional approach.
* Confident working weekends and evenings as part of a rota.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and event administration processes.
