Senior Export Compliance Coordinator
We’re partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Senior Export Compliance Coordinator based in Deeside. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced export or compliance professional to play a key role in ensuring smooth cross-border trade and compliance with international regulations.
The Role
As Senior Export Compliance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for leading the coordination and administration of certification requirements for exporting products requiring Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) assurance to NI, ROI, the EU and further afield. You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and government authorities to ensure all documentation, procedures and legal frameworks are fully compliant.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating and administering SPS certification requirements for exports.
* Managing customs procedures and documentation, including CHEDs and import/export declarations.
* Liaising with suppliers to obtain essential documentation (e.g. attestations, movement sheets, slaughter codes, processing confirmations).
* Supporting the Export Compliance Manager with scheduling, certification updates, and direct liaison with officials.
* Providing clear status reports to stakeholders, ensuring certifications are completed accurately and on time.
* Driving continuous improvement in export compliance processes.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience in export, import, or compliance roles.
* Understands customs regulations, international trade requirements, and order processing for cross-border trade.
* Has strong administrative, organisational and coordination skills.
* Works accurately under pressure, with a keen eye for detail.
* Builds effective relationships with suppliers, authorities, and internal teams.
* Is adaptable, proactive and able to handle multiple priorities.
Desirable:
* BCC Foundation Award in International Trade (or similar qualification).
* Experience working with government portals and certification systems.
