Do you have what we're looking for? The live environment at London Gatwick requires all our teams to have a flexible and adaptable approach, with problem solving skills and an innovative outlook. Involved in projects from inception to completion you will work alongside multiple stakeholders such as Airfield Operations, Passenger Operations, Baggage Operations and Security. In addition, this role requires: * Educated to Degree level or equivalent in construction management or a relevant engineering field. * Experience (typically 5+ years) delivering significant new build, fit out, and refurbishment projects, ideally with a multi-disciplinary skillset. * Previous experience as a Senior Field Engineer, Senior Construction Manager or Senior Engineer on larger complex infrastructure projects which have multiple competing stakeholders, and elements of possession working is highly desirable. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Experience (typically 1-3 years) of leading small teams. * An understanding of the importance of controlling and managing the project close out and handover process (bringing into use), including an understanding of Building Control requirements. * Previous experience in challenging and addressing HSE issues associated within construction. * Understanding and knowledge of quality management. * Experience of tracking project progress vs programme and flagging issues early for resolution/escalation. * Be able to perform schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities, milestone and quantity tracking of internal and external activities. * Sound commercial and financial awareness, with knowledge and understanding of the NEC3/4 suite of contracts.
