Michael Page Finance are supporting a rapidly expanding, PE-backed business in Leeds on their search for a Senior Finance Manager to lead statutory reporting, audit, tax, treasury, and financial control which proves a great opportunity for a technical and controls-focused accountant with understanding of tax processes. In return, the successful candidate will gain exposure to senior finance and wider business leaders, projects and progression prospects.

Description
In this fast-paced and varied Senior Finance Manager role, the successful candidate will be expected to:
Take ownership of group-wide statutory reporting, external audit delivery, and key tax and treasury activities.
Shape and strengthen financial controls by designing and embedding improved policies, processes, and frameworks across the finance teams.
Streamline month-end procedures to produce faster, more accurate financial information and enhance overall reporting quality.
Lead, mentor, and grow a small finance team, ensuring robust performance and capability development.
Produce clear, timely financial results for both individual entities and the consolidated group, supporting investor and stakeholder requirements.
Manage the audit cycle from planning through completion, ensuring high-quality statutory accounts and strong audit readiness.
Champion efficient cash management and ensure full compliance with tax obligations and financial regulation.
Contribute to key change initiatives, including system enhancements, accounting updates, and other finance transformation projects.
Profile
We're looking for:
Professionally qualified accountant with post-qualification industry experience, preferably ACA or equivalent.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a small finance team to deliver high-quality results.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships across multiple business areas.
Adaptable and confident in managing change, ambiguity, and process improvement initiatives.Job Offer
