Job Description
Senior Fire Risk Assessor – North West / Cumbria
* Up to £55,000 basic
* Company Car or Car Allowance
* 24 days + bank holidays
* 5% employer contribution
* Clear path to Validator or Head of Passive Fire

The Role:
As a Senior Fire Risk Assessor, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality assessments, mentoring junior staff, and helping to drive continuous improvement across fire safety services.
Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough fire risk assessments across a variety of commercial and residential properties
*
Produce clear, detailed, and fully compliant reports tailored to each site
*
Communicate findings to clients in a professional and supportive manner, offering practical recommendations
*
Keep up to date with the latest fire safety legislation, regulations, and industry standards
*
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and trainee assessors, supporting their development
*
Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
Requirements:

Minimum Level 4 Fire Risk Assessment qualification
*
Proven experience in carrying out complex risk assessments
*
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*
Ability to work independently and within a wider team
*
Passion for fire safety and a commitment to ongoing development
