EXPERIENCED SENIOR FIRE & SECURITY ENGINEER - INSTALLATION & SERVICE NEEDED BY INDUSTRY-LEADING FIRE & SECURITY SOLUTIONS PROVIDER
TITLE: Senior Fire & Security Engineer - Installation and Service
SALARY: £40-45K DOE

Overtime offered at 1.5x (up to Saturday noon) and 2x (Saturday noon to Monday 8:30 AM)
Part of a rotating on-call schedule (approx. once every 6 weeks)
Standby payment: £225 per week
LOCATION: Primarily covering the Leicestershire area

ROLE: Senior Fire & Security Engineer - Installation and Service
This position involves both hands-on installation and service of integrated Fire & Security solutions including Fire Alarms, Intruder Detection, CCTV, and Access Control systems, predominantly throughout Leicestershire. You'll also act as a senior point of contact within the team, assisting in complex fault diagnosis, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting operational leadership while maintaining strict adherence to safety and company standards.
EXPERIENCE: Senior Fire & Security Engineer - Installation and Service
You should be a well-rounded, experienced professional with expertise in installing and maintaining a broad range of Fire & Security systems. Strong wiring skills and in-depth electronic knowledge are vital for success in this role.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as travel will primarily be across the Leicestershire area, with occasional overnight stays as required. Relevant industry certifications or electrical qualifications are highly desirable.
Preferred qualifications include FIA Certification, BTEC Level 3 in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, and NVQ Level 2/3 in Electronic Security Systems. Additional accreditations such as ECS, IPAF, CSCS, or certification from NSI or SSAIB would be highly advantageous.
