Project Associate – Fragrance Development (12-Month FTC)
Location: Hull
Salary: Circa £45,000
Are you looking for a role where you can take ownership of a high-impact project within a global business? We are currently recruiting for a Project Associate – Fragrance Development to join a market-leading organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role will form a key part of a large-scale regulation-driven reformulation project, requiring a candidate with strong technical evaluation expertise and the ability to manage projects independently.
The Role
*
Lead and support the fragrance reformulation programme, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of submissions.
*
Develop and deliver the reformulation of the global portfolio for Aircare
*
Evaluate fragrance submissions from international teams and external partners, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
*
Ensuring 90% on-time delivery of reworked fragrances, ensuring that all KPI’s are met by FH partners and R&D teams have all the submission needs met for technical qualification
*
Manage the project from start to finish, working with multi-functional teams across R&D, Regulatory, Safety and Quality.
*
Act as the main point of contact between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
The Person
* Minimum of Bachelors degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 3 years + experience in Fragrance development and application in a FMCG environment.
* 3 years + of proven Project Management experience within a cross-functional, international and multi-cultural environment
* 5+ years fragrance evaluation experience with above average olfactive acuity
* Expertise in development and validation of new fragrance technologies, including new product development
* Strong technical problem solving skills, with 3+ years of technical R&D product development experience
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Strong networking, influencing and communication skills
* Experience consumer understanding and sensory testing
* Portfolio fragrance management experience
* Experience in external vendor management
