Job Description

Senior Gardener/Tractor Driver 
 Location: Fareham, Hampshire
 Salary: £26,403 - £28,142
 Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-3:30pm (Permanent, Full Time) 
Join our clients Maintenance team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our award-winning Town Centre parks and gardens. This hands-on role involves driving a tractor to care for large public spaces, along with soft and hard landscaping, horticultural pruning, fine turf management, and floral display upkeep. You may also assist with sports ground and play area maintenance, and grave preparation. 
About the role:

Drive tractors and ride-on mowers to maintain public spaces 

Manage soft and hard landscaping, horticultural tasks, and turf care 

Occasionally assist with sports ground upkeep and grave preparation 
What we're looking for:

Experience in grounds maintenance and tractor/ride-on mower driving 

Full driving licence required 

Knowledge of fine turf culture, plant care, pests, diseases, and pesticide use 

Mature attitude with ability to lead a small team and interact professionally with the public 

Ability to work outdoors in all weather with pride and independence
