Job Description
Senior Gas Turbine Engineering Consultant
Location: South London (with occasional international travel)
Role Overview
*
Conduct detailed assessments and failure investigations of turbine components.
*
Provide technical advice to improve performance, reliability, and risk management.
*
Produce clear, high-quality reports and presentations.
*
Visit client sites in the UK and abroad as required.
Requirements
*
Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (PhD desirable).
*
Strong knowledge of gas/steam turbines and materials.
*
Experience in component assessments, failure investigations, and data analysis.
*
Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
*
Willingness to travel at short notice; driving licence preferred.
Desirable Expertise
*
Turbine material behaviour and degradation.

Life assessments and failure mechanism analysis.

Project management experience.
*
Proficiency with engineering software and MS Office.
