An exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Engineer to lead a new team of ground investigation specialists has presented itself. This consultancy have multiple offices across the UK and are now looking to develop their team in the Manchester office. This position provides a great opportunity to contribute to business development and build a team. If you're looking for a step up in responsibility and skillset, this is the role for you.
The Senior Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Engineer will receive:
A competitive salary (£40,000 - £45,000).

Client facing work allowing for networking.The Senior Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Engineer selected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include:
Building and leading a ground investigation team through a variety of projects, ensuring smooth development and delivery, project managing at times.
Liaising closely with clients, contributing to business development, contract managing, tendering and team development.
Overseeing site work.
Writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports.
Mentoring junior team members.As a result, the Senior Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Engineer role requires previous experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of site investigation practices and leading/mentoring a team. You should have an industry relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science etc), ideally have or be working towards chartership, hold a full UK Driving Licence, have a full right to work in the UK and be commutable to the Manchester area.
