Buttons Recruitment is thrilled to represent one of our esteemed clients in Norfolk, who are looking for accomplished Senior Healthcare Assistants/Senior Support Workers to join their dynamic team in a care home setting!
Wages are £12.60ph, ongoing training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be an efficient team player contributing to the home's smooth running
- Engage in continuous professional development through training, meetings, and supervisions
- Adhere to Kingsley Healthcare’s health and safety policies
- Maintain confidentiality and represent Kingsley Healthcare positively
- Provide highest standards of care to residents, assist with mobility and personal needs
- Undertake domestic tasks and bed-making to maintain home cleanliness
- Monitor residents closely, especially those with challenging behaviours or confusion
- Act as a Support Worker, safeguarding vulnerable adults
- Assist with meals and resident feeding when needed
- Carry out regular safety and well-being checks
- Maintain clean and well-functioning equipment
- Support nurses in delivering high-quality resident care
- Accurately record and report resident observations in care plans
- Follow home policies to ensure safe working practices for all
Skills and Experience:
- Experience caring for people, such as family or elderly relative care
- Strong empathy, understanding, and experience with residents' needs
- Excellent time management skills, capable of working under pressure
- Proactive in making balanced, clear, and timely decisions
- Open to consulting and involving others in decisions
- Knowledge or willingness to learn food hygiene preparation
- Commitment to mandatory training and specialist subjects
