Job Description
Senior HR Business Partner
V-Recruit are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner for one of our clients, who are based in the North of the UK, to cover a period of absence, to start as soon as possible.
This role is initially a Fixed Term Contract for a duration of 3 months, with a potential to be extended. This is a full-time role, with flexible working.
You will be required to travel around the sites and bases in the North of England to deliver impactful HR strategies across complex, industrial environments.
Duties to include:
* You will be a key advisor and trusted partner to operational leaders and will partner with site leadership and corporate stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business priorities.
* Providing expert guidance on organisational changes, TUPE, restructures and industrial relations
* Take lead on HR aspects of major site mobilisations and project ramp-ups
* Coach frontline managers and embed consistent, values-based leadership behaviours
* Maintaining and updating recruitment databases and HR systems
* Ensure compliance with employment law and support audit readiness
* Drive workforce planning, employee relations, talent development and engagement strategies
Job Specifics
* This is a full-time role (36.25 hours), working on average 8 hours per day – flexibility with start and finish times – 8am-4pm/9am-5pm.
* Monday to Friday working week
* £Negotiable salary, DOE
* This a fixed term role currently, but has potential to be extended
* Immediate starts available
* Full UK driving licence & own transport required for the national travel that this role requires, although expenses are paid.
The candidate
The chosen candidate will be a confident communicator, who is highly motivated and driven to achieve results. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated success in a senior HR role, within an industrial, infrastructure or engineering environment.
We are looking for experienced HR Business Partners, who have the knowledge and experience of a unionised or safety-critical environment.
The chosen candidate will be confident in handling complex ER cases, negotiations and change management, with the ability to influence at all levels and manage competing priorities across multiple locations.
