This is the ideal opportunity to join my client, an innovative, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for their expertise across the civil and structural engineering landscapes, as well as their passion for sustainability. They are seeking a talented, experienced Senior Hydraulic Modeller, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of experts, based near the sought-after, high-end area of Marylebone, Central London.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
Working on a number of high-profile Flood Risk, Surface Water, and Drainage projects for the public and private sectors, such as residential developments, airport-related developments, etc.
Contributing to River Restoration and Flood Alleviation projects
Authoring Flood Risk Assessments for Zones 1, 2, and 3
Producing Surface Water Management Plans, in addition to Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies
Flood Risk Mapping and Modelling, using the appropriate software (including TuFlow and Flood Modeller)
Creating Residential Drainage and Sewerage designs, using Causeway Flow and MicroDrainage across a number of projects
Preparing Drainage Area Plans for submission
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering or Hydrology (or similar, relevant discipline)
Demonstrable experience of having worked for a UK-based consultancy or Local Authority, specifically in a design role
Extensive experience of authoring Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, and Hydraulic Modelling
Excellent proficiency with the relevant software packages, including Flood Modeller, Tuflow, and Causeway Flow
Good communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organisational skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Hydraulic Modeller include:
Some experience completing Drainage Designs
Hold Chartership Status, or proactively working to attain this
Prior experience of having lead design projects and/or a team
Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
