Senior Hygiene Team Leader
£31,657 per annum
Monday – Friday / 2pm-10pm
Deeside
Our client based in the Deeside area is currently looking to recruit a Senior Hygiene Team Leader. Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, you will ensure that the production environment meets high standards of cleanliness and safety by leading and motivating a hygiene team to carry out cleaning tasks and hygiene processes.
Performance Objectives
* Ensure all operations meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
* Dispose of waste in a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible manner.
* Promote a safe working environment and reduce risk to employees and visitors.
* Verify cleanliness and readiness of equipment through unannounced inspections.
* Ensure that all clean equipment is clearly labelled to prevent contamination or misuse.
* Ensure tasks are completed according to defined procedures.
* Verify surface cleanliness using ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) swabbing.
* Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and timely to support traceability, compliance, and audit readiness.
* Confirm all scheduled activities are completed and acknowledged.
* Confirm that cleaning chemicals meet the correct concentrations during use.
* Ensure all personnel are adequately trained and training records are up to date.
* Promote a cooperative and communicative working environment.
* Assist with cross-functional tasks that benefit the overall operation of the site.
Person Specification
* Experience of working within a similar role.
* Leadership skills.
* Problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Ability to comply with company guidelines and safety standards.
* Manufacturing experience would be desirable.
