This is the ideal opportunity to join my client, an award-winning, well-established Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their expertise to a range of important projects across the civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering landscapes. They are actively seeking an experienced, driven Senior Infrastructure Engineer, willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside an already-established team of professionals, based near the thriving, green city of Sheffield.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer include:
Working on residential and commercial design projects, including surface water, sewer networks, and external ground levels
Designing highways, including vertical and horizontal geometry, with reference to the relevant Section Agreements (S38, S278, S104)
Utilising specialist software packages for drainage and infrastructure, including AutoCAD, Causeway PDS, and MicroDrainage/WinDes
Preparing technical schedules, and ensuring work is carried out correctly, adhering to agreed budgets and timescales
Engaging with and managing clients and other stakeholders
Liaising with Company Directors regarding important decisions, ensuring objectives and expectations are achieved
Mentoring and assisting Graduate Engineers throughout their development
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer include:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or similar, relevant discipline)
Hold Chartered Status (or proactively working to attain this) with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE)
Extensive experience in a UK consultancy setting, in a design-based role
Demonstrable experience in designing infrastructure (particularly residential), including drainage and highways to adoptable standards
Highly competent in understanding the relevant Section Agreements (S38, S278, S104, S106)
Experience of leading a team and/or projects
Proven ability to mentor colleagues in their training and development
Outstanding communication (written and verbal), organisation, and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Infrastructure Engineer include:
Experience of having managed a team and/or projects
Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
Excellent time management skills
