Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Why this firm?
A respected Midlands insolvency & restructuring team with a genuine people culture and a strong referrer network. Expect:

* Work–life balance through hybrid working and sensible targets.
The opportunity
Own and progress your own portfolio while supporting managers/IPs on complex appointments. You’ll be a go-to contact for directors and creditors, keeping files tight and timelines on track.
What you’ll do
* Run cases end-to-end: CVLs/MVLs and Administrations, with exposure to other procedures as needed.
* Draft/submit statutory paperwork: s.100 packs, SOAs, decision procedure notices, progress/closure reports, deficiency accounts.
* Manage creditor processes, claims adjudication, proxies, voting and distributions, answering complex queries with confidence.
* Coordinate asset realisations and liaise with agents/auctioneers; assist on investigations and antecedent transaction reviews.
* Maintain audit-ready files in IPS/Turnkey (or similar) with full compliance to legislation, AML and SIPs (2/9/16).
* Support juniors, check work, share best practice and help with task allocation.
What sets this apart
* Range & responsibility: Corporate focus with chances to broaden scope and step up on complex matters.
* Career momentum: Regular reviews, transparent criteria and real routes to leadership.
* Serious about development: Funded CPI (and JIEB if desired), paid study leave and structured CPD.
* Supportive environment: Friendly team, hybrid flexibility and tech that speeds you up.
About you
* Current Insolvency Administrator/Senior Administrator with strong corporate experience (CVLs essential; Administrations desirable).
* Comfortable producing statutory documents and running creditor processes/decision procedures.
* Excellent organisation and file control; deadline-driven with high attention to detail.
* Competent on IPS/Turnkey (or equivalent) and Excel.
* CPI qualified or working towards it; interest in JIEB welcomed.
Rewards & benefits
* Competitive base + discretionary bonus
* Hybrid working (central Birmingham)
* 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays (buy/sell scheme)
* CPI/JIEB sponsorship & paid study time
* Private healthcare & wellbeing initiatives
