What you'll be doing: You’ll lead the development and delivery of internal communications for the Customer Engagement department, ensuring alignment with wider organisational goals. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you’ll provide strategic guidance while creating engaging, targeted content for colleagues—especially those in time-pressured roles like our contact teams. You’ll manage the department’s intranet, support key engagement initiatives, and collaborate across the organisation to drive a culture of transparency and connection. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and distribute engaging internal communications, including newsletters, need-to-know customer content and, announcements. * Devise and deliver the annual communications plan for the department – incorporating communications from live projects. * Coordinate and support internal events such as town halls, Q&A sessions, and employee engagement initiatives. * Maintain and update the company intranet and internal knowledge bases with relevant and timely content – creating a solution for how contact teams can assess necessary communication as part of their day job. * Monitor communication effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and analytics, and recommend improvements. * Ensure all communications reflect the company’s tone, values, and diversity and inclusion standards. * Help lead the evolution of internal communication channels, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement to enhance colleague engagement. What we’re looking for: * Proven experience in internal communications, including developing and implementing communication strategies and plans. * Excellent copywriting, editing, and proof-reading skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and channels. * Strong experience managing digital communication channels, including intranet platforms, digital signage, and internal social media. * Sound understanding of internal communication principles and best practices. * Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Desirable Skills: * Experience working in a financial services or similarly regulated environment. * Experience contributing to or leading intranet strategy and development. * Relevant qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
