Senior Key Account Manager – Water Hygiene & Water Treatment Location: UK (Hybrid / Field‑Based) Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + strong benefits package About the Opportunity Are you an experienced account management professional within the water hygiene or water treatment sector? This is an exciting opportunity to lead high‑value key accounts, mentor developing talent, and play a major role in driving strategic growth within a well‑established technical division. You’ll combine operational oversight, commercial leadership, and strategic direction — all while building strong client relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities * Lead and develop strategic key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and strong long‑term client relationships. * Mentor and support Key Account Managers to enhance their capability, confidence, and performance. * Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within existing and potential customer portfolios. * Oversee account profitability, including budgets, forecasts, and performance targets. * Chair and lead sales and operational meetings, ensuring structured discussion, clear objectives, and strong accountability. * Support internal and external audits, including compliance with relevant industry frameworks and Legionella Control Association standards. * Lead operational planning and scheduling to ensure efficient, high‑quality service delivery. * Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain smooth operations, consistent communication, and a high‑performance culture. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness. (Option A) * Provide regular reporting on operational and financial performance to senior leadership, including insights that support long‑term strategic decision‑making. (Option B) * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and support on‑site teams in maintaining high safety standards. What We’re Looking For * Extensive experience in water hygiene and/or water treatment account management. * Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support account management teams. * Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, forecasting, and P&L oversight. * Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. * Experience supporting or participating in internal/external audits and working in compliance‑driven environments. * Strong operational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and deliver efficient, high‑quality service. * Solid understanding of health & safety regulations relevant to water hygiene operations. * Confidence chairing structured meetings and driving aligned action across teams. * Ability to contribute to continuous improvement and support a positive, high‑performance culture. * Experience preparing operational and financial performance reports for senior leadership.
