Local authority in Wiltshire are currently looking for a senior land & development surveyor for an initial period of 6 months.
Purpose of the role:
Provide professional development advice on the commercial and residential property portfolio.
Manage staff working to the postholder through procedural control including key result areas and development and staff appraisal techniques.
Allocate cases, and give guidance, supervise, direct as well as ensure completion of assigned cases. Assess/identify, monitor and supervise the professional training needs of the staff working to the postholder.
Ensure that valuation work undertaken by staff working to the postholder is in accordance with the Statutory Code and CIPFA and RICS Practice Statements and Guidance Notes and is in compliance with the Council's standing orders, financial regulations, codes and practices.
Manage the letting, renewal and ongoing administration of commercial and agricultural tenancies.

£400 - £450 per day (inside)
