We’re now looking for a talented and driven Senior Management Accountant to help shape the financial insight that powers our strategic decisions and supports our evolving business.
About the Role
As Senior Management Accountant, you’ll be a key member of the finance team, responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis, overseeing management accounting activities, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. You’ll work closely with the Senior Accountant and lead a team of Management Accountants, ensuring accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and continuous improvement in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Conduct detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing clear explanations and recommendations
* Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports, KPI analysis, and ad-hoc reports to senior stakeholders
* Support budgeting and forecasting by collaborating with department heads to align financial targets with strategic goals
* Monitor and analyse business costs, identifying opportunities for efficiency and performance improvement
* Mentor and support junior accounting staff, promoting best practices and professional development
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and statutory requirements
* Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Champion continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting standards
What We’re Looking For
We’re after a confident, qualified finance professional (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with solid experience in management accounting and a sharp eye for both detail and strategy. You’ll be fluent in Excel, familiar with ERP systems like Netsuite or SAP, and comfortable presenting financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
